Resolvecall Home Visit.

Hi All,

Received a call from my wife to to say she was stopped on her way out by a man who said he was from Resolvecall and needed a word in private.

She done no more then called me and I told her to ignore the person and carry on going out.

He left a card with a reference number which we cannot match but now think its the bogus American express debt that never was.

Is it worth sending a CCA letter which I think  we done some time back.

I have looked for the template but as usual cannot find it.

old debt to intrum or capquest i suspect.??

i would not respond unless you ever get a letter of claim.

Yes but it was for a debt that never existed but to come to the door was a step to far as my wife was quite frightened by it.

He showed her a badge like he was official and wanted to talk in private.

But after speaking to me she closed the door behind her and told him to post any letter.

sorry but you've been here for +10yrs and are well aware that dca's on paper or at your doorstep have zero legal powers and how to deal with them.

if you've never in all this time told your wife too, thats your problem.

they know where you live so await their papertiger letter of claim if resolvecalls client are ever  brave enough.

Thanks for that, I just felt powerless today and my wife really does not understand how low some companies will go.

But I will explain it in simple terms to her.
